Help to advertise job and apprenticeship vacancies on the Portal
The Portal provides a single place to search for jobs, apprenticeships and funded training courses in Cheshire and Warrington. It currently has over 25k jobs that are updated every 30 minutes. We also regularly analyse the enquiries being made on the website to get an insight into the types of jobs people are searching for.
Employers can advertise jobs on the Cheshire and Warrington Opportunities Portal through Adzuna and/or on our hard to fill vacancies page.
Employers can advertise apprenticeships through by uploading their apprenticeship vacancies to the Gov.UK Find and Apprenticeship service.
Adzuna
Adzuna gather jobs from all over the internet (they estimate that they have 90-95% of job postings at any given time) and allow us to display them on our portal. Any jobs advertised on Adzuna with a Cheshire and Warrington postcode automatically appear in the search of the Cheshire and Warrington Opportunities Portal.
The Types of Jobs People are Searching for
The Portal provides real time intelligence about the types of job searches being undertaken. Most recently key areas of interest included part time jobs and remote working/working from home.
Young people are particularly interested in the social values of businesses and what it is like to work for them.
